Biography
Susan Foley is a senior research fellow at the University of Massachusetts Boston, working for the Institute for Community Inclusion in the School for Global Inclusion and Social Development. She leads several multi-year national research projects on vocational rehabilitation (VR), public policy, and the employment of people with disabilities.
Among her current research projects: a multi-state study of Vermont Progressive Employment, the use of a labor market information dashboard by Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services, and multiple initiatives with Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation. She’s also testing a rapid-engagement, coordinated-team approach at the Kentucky Office of VR and at Minnesota VR Services.
Dr. Foley received her doctorate in Social Welfare Policy from Brandeis University.
