Don Alveshere manages the Aware product line for Alliance Enterprises. Aware is Alliance’s case management software used by 37 state agencies and 24 tribal nations. More than 12,000 counselors use the software to help find and maintain meaningful work for people with disabilities.
Don leads Aware user group efforts, sharing new product information with customers and gathering their feedback that the company uses to improve our software. Don plays a key role in understanding market needs and guiding Alliance to develop solutions that benefit the market, both in VR and related industries. He also participates in communicating solution benefits through the development of Aware marketing materials.
Previously, Don was an Administrator for the Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) and served as Assistant Director for Washington Department for the Blind and in the Planning and Evaluation unit for the Washington Division of Vocational Rehabilitation where he also was a Program Administrator. He has over 10 years of experience, managing VR programs.
Don has a Master’s in Public Administration from Seattle University, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Social Science Education from Auburn University.
