Keynote Presentation – Joseph Jones: High Expectations: Transforming the American Workforce as the ADA Generation Comes of Age
Since the passage of the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) in 1990, there have been many improvements to the opportunities available for those with disabilities. The young men and women who have come to age since the law’s passage, known as the ADA Generation, serve as a testament to the progress our nation has made. However, challenges remain for people with disabilities, hindering the ability to truly provide equal opportunities for all. Joseph discusses the responsibilities we carry to continue to close the gap and provide the resources and support for these individuals to grow and prosper.
